Herman is a very sensitive and also shy horse, he doesn't let anywho getting close to him, you need to deserve his trust but when you have done it, he will follow you through water and fire and he will be very loyal to you. Even if he's careful with two-legged ones, you might often find at least one of the barn cats sleeping on his back in his stall or even in the pasture too but it's rare that it happens since he actually bolts away when some of his pasture buddies become scared he's just following without to think before so the cats have learned - avoid to sleep on his back in the sun or you might be bounced away!
